Outrigger at Sunset
Here is my tsukeniko ink project. Done! Off to hang it this morning at the Rancho Buena Vista Gallery, so I needed a pic before it left home. Can't wait for our next lab project.
This piece is really incredible! The feeling of the outrigger floating into the frame is really nice. The shadow under the outrigger looks fantastic. I also appreciate the meditative/tranquil quality the piece conveys. I could stare at this view all day. Well done! Congratulations on having this beautiful piece selected for the Rancho Buena Vista Gallery Show.
This is beautiful! I think you're onto something with the Tsukeniko inks! Using the tulle/net in the reflections of the boat and land are the perfect choice. The piece has so much movement but it's so calming at the same time.
